When I was fifteen I wanted to be in a band.
I had always tinkered with a piano we had when I was growing up, but never took it anywhere. I graduated to a guitar at 15 and was fairly competent with it up until my early 20's. Then, like so many hobbies, I just stopped playing. I've picked up a guitar several times over the years, but never for long and not with the same fervent I had when I was a teenager. I once wrote a song with a group of like-minded mates I was playing with. It was bad, cripplingly bad if I recall correctly. I always wondered if I could write something that didn't completely suck. And if one... why not a couple?
So that's the bucket list goal; To write and record a handful of tunes!
